St. Joseph Against the “Great Reset”
The Catholic Church is the avowed enemy of atheistic Communism in every age and place in which it is practiced, and for that reason, modern popes have frequently and stridently spoken against it and invoked the Patron of the Universal Church to lead the fight against the encroaching evil of atheistic Communism.
The popes have never conceded even the slightest moral ground to Communism nor accepted the legitimacy of any of its many manifestations in history, which they have likened to the many-headed beasts of Revelation.
Today, Communism has different names: it is called Socialism and Democratic Socialism, the New World Order, and most recently, the Great Reset, which is the globalist coalition to destroy democratic structures and replace them with the tyranny of the elite.
The atheistic cult of Communism is at our door. At its core, it is a spiritual evil and as damaging now as it has ever been before because it is rooted in the timeless rebellion of the evil spirits and humanity against God.
We desperately need Joseph at precisely this time to lead us in this battle against all forms of cultural Marxism and overt Communism. Just as in the Old Testament, the sons of Israel were saved from famine through the great Patriarch Joseph, now the world needs Saint Joseph more than ever to save and protect us from Communism.
At Go To Joseph we stand and ask St. Joseph, Terror of Demons, to come to our aid in the fight against the eternal enemy of souls!
Here is the clearest papal statement of a modern pope on what we are up against:
From Pope Pius XI’s Encyclical Letter, Divini Redemptoris on Atheistic Communism, 1937, nn. 81-82.
To hasten the advent of that “peace of Christ in the kingdom of Christ” so ardently desired by all, We place the vast campaign of the Church against world Communism under the standard of St. Joseph, her mighty Protector. He belongs to the working-class, and he bore the burdens of poverty for himself and the Holy Family, whose tender and vigilant head he was. To him was entrusted the Divine Child when Herod loosed his assassins against Him. In a life of faithful performance of everyday duties, he left an example for all those who must gain their bread by the toil of their hands. He won for himself the title of “The Just,” serving thus as a living model of that Christian justice which should reign in social life.
With eyes lifted on high, our Faith sees the new heavens and the new earth described by Our first Predecessor, St. Peter. While the promises of the false prophets of this earth melt away in blood and tears, the great apocalyptic prophecy of the Redeemer shines forth in heavenly splendor: “Behold, I make all things new.” Venerable Brethren, nothing remains but to raise Our paternal hands to call down upon you, upon your clergy and people, upon the whole Catholic family, the Apostolic Benediction.
Benedict XV, Bonum Sane, 1920.
Indeed, in the votes and the expectations of the most seditious, an idea has matured of a certain universal republic to come, founded on the absolute equality of men and on the communion of goods, in which there would no longer be any distinctions of nationality, and in which is recognized neither the authority of the father over his children, nor the public authority over the citizens, nor the authority of God over men united in a civil consortium. All things which, if they were realized, would necessarily give rise to tremendous societal convulsions, such as that which is now devastating a not small portion of Europe. And precisely to bring about a similar condition of things among other peoples, we see that the common people are agitated by the fury and the impudence of a few, and here and there we see riots.
We did not neglect…to remember the duty to the men on our side who earn their bread with labor…, to keep them immune from the contagion of socialism, the bitter enemy of Christian principles, We with great solicitude offer them in a particular way St. Joseph—that they might follow him as their special guide and honor him as their heavenly Patron.
Leo XIII, Quamquam Pluries, 1889, n. 5.
Through these considerations, the poor and those who live by the labour of their hands should be of good heart and learn to be just. If they win the right of emerging from poverty and obtaining a better rank by lawful means, reason and justice uphold them in changing the order established, in the first instance, for them by the Providence of God. But recourse to force and struggles by seditious paths to obtain such ends are madnesses which only aggravate the evil which they aim to suppress. Let the poor, then, if they would be wise, trust not to the promises of seditious men, but rather to the example and patronage of the Blessed Joseph, and to the maternal charity of the Church, which each day takes an increasing compassion on their lot.
Statements of Modern Popes
Modern popes have spoken openly about the Church’s need for the patronage of St. Joseph. The following links will bring you to the Vatican website where these statements can be found.
